KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop efficient and scalable excel based solutions using data extracted from any source system
  • Streamline and automate of existing processes with the help of macros and VBA
  • Develop basic understanding of Financial Institutions and their hierarchys and map the information
  • Analyze financial data and create database models
FUNCTIONAL & BEHAVIOURAL KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong knowledge on various commands, string operations associated with VBA
  • Strong client engagement with project development experience using Agile methodologies
PROBLEM SOLVING
  • Provide guidance/suggestions to others where needed
  • Ensure all documentation is recorded and maintained
INTERACTIONS
  • To manage Python/VBA excel proposal, timeline, review process flow, programming, UAT and roll out as per project plan
  • Work with other teams as a lead and/or member
  • Responsible for managing several Individual Contributors
TYPICAL SCOPE & IMPACT
  • To be responsible for the quality of assigned VBA application and should be capable for providing guidance for first level of support
MINIMUM & PREFERRED EDUCATION
  • BE /B. Tech/ BSc IT/ BCA/ MCA
MINIMUM & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
  • Strong MS Excel (2007/2010/2013), VBA and VB.NET background; experience in writing macros will be an added advantage
  • Excellent working skills with MS office tools, especially good at advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
  • Strong quantitative skills and an ability to work with significant amounts of data
  • Basic understanding of financial products
  • Working knowledge of professional information services like Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters etc. preferred
  • Past experience in VBA coding preferred
