Ui Artist Job in Crucible Recruitment Ltd

We are looking for an UI Artist whounderstands both the limitations and opportunities of designing interfaces for mobile games.In this role, you will be in charge of building and maintaining consistency and quality for interface art, setting visual standards and defining the tone and style of all UI in the game in alignment with it s treatment and target audience. You will produce a variety of UI art that will inspire the team,communicate well onmobile, and make interaction within the game a visual delight for ourplayers. In addition, you will help the art and design team members find creative solutions, give constructive feedback and be a spokesperson for the art, science and craft of UI in the studio.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the game design team to understand the game s features and design
• Create wireframes, mock-up screens, prototypes and animated UI design
• Define the visual identity, theme, feel and treatment required and build the game s UI style guide
• Identify, create and deliver all UI assets (borders, buttons, pop-ups, states, screens, and more) for the game
• Work with the programming team to implement and polish the user interfaces and overall player interaction experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in UI Art, UX Design or similar role.
• Strong UI Design fundamentals: Grid systems, composition, color, motion, interactivity, lighting, and perspective
• Expertise in photoshop or equivalent software
• Experience with Adobe XD or other UI prototyping software
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
• Ability to take complex information and turn it into user-friendly UI design.
• Strong passion for gaming experience working on mobile games is a big plus!
• A portfolio showcasing your UI Design, UX Design, Graphic Design, etc.
• Understanding how color and shapes affect choices
