The key aspects of this role include:

• Should be able to write and understand functions written in R and use macro variables in code.
• Work with more complex R code comprising many lines of code, as opposed to someone who has just written very simple programs in R.
• Data processing/data summarization including reading and writing data, data transformations, and producing data summaries such as mean, max, min, standard deviation, missing values, etc.
• Statistical modeling for running the data through (ideally a regression-type model) and producing outputs such as R-square, t-stats, P-values, etc. and interpreting the model outputs.

To be the right fit, you'll need:

• 3+years of experience into Data science, Data Analysis/Data Engineering and Machine Learning.
• Experience on Statistical programming languages such as R (and SAS) typically on two components data processing/data summarization and statistical modeling.
• Knowledge of Regression Model; R-square, t-stats, P-values, etc. and interpreting the model outputs.

• Should have Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical modelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

Good to have:
