Job Summary
Key Responsibilities----------------------Responsible for design and development of assigned software modules, part of enterprise SCADA software solution offerings and other new product developments, as per the implementation plan.Work closely with the QA department to ensure completeness, quality, and performance of implemented software functionality.Responsible for maintaining and writing new design documents, hold reviews to ensure closure on agreed interface and software design.Creation and implementations of Software Designs.Lead the development team to deliver software packages as per agreed scope within schedule and budget.Be able to work comfortably and effectively with changing priorities and requirements.Responsible for the creation of training material for customers and team onboarding.Responsible for defect resolution during the stabilization phase.Responsible for the maintenance of legacy software systems.Prioritizes team collaboration and success.
Required Qualifications--------------------------BSc (minimum) in Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable area of studies or equivalent.8+ years or the equivalent of software development work experience.Presentation skills working with the customer, development, and implementation teams.Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as interpersonal skills.Must have proven multitasking skills and the ability to work under pressure.Must have excellent analytical and computational skills.
Nice to have----------------An understanding of unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD).OOP development experience (C++ and JavaScript).Experience working in a structured V-model software development environment (e.g. SIL, automotive)Experience setting up CI/CD pipelinesExperience in software development usingC#, python, bash and JAVASencha EXTJS 4.2, Qt 4+React, Angular, jQuery, NodeJSEMQX / MQTTRedis / Redis StreamsKubernetes, DockerMongoDB, PostgreDB, MySQLRedHat, CentOSAzure, HadoopElasticsearchExperience with customer UX design
