Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Market intelligence be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Build market segmentation & audience personas.
  • Understand the competitive landscape be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Create consistent positioning statements and the associated proof points. This source material is used by rest of marketing to generate public-facing marketing collateral.
  • Contribute to Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for Cygnet Infotech s entire product portfolio, providing insights to Product, Sales and Marketing & Communications team by building messaging that speaks to our users needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Technology and rest of Marketing & Communications team to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target audience.
  • Influence cross-functional teams without formal line management relationship.
  • Understand and document our buyer s process, including where they get information, and identify the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our product strategy, sales GTM and marketing initiatives based on what you learn.
  • Analyze sales data and contribute to the holistic marketing plan and product road map, collaborating with colleagues internally, to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Work with Product & Sales team to build partnerships & channel management strategy.
  • Operations management enabling greater collaboration between Sales and Marketing & Communications team.

Professional Skills

  • 8 years of experience in product & technology companies, with 4 years in a product marketing role.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. Capable of balancing multiple projects and goals. Detail orientation where it matters.
  • Comfort analyzing substantial data sets.
  • A proactive nature. Lay out plans that others are eager to follow.
  • A bias toward collaboration! Excitement to share your expertise with the team shows up in attention, diligence, and communication.
