Job Summary

Responsibilities:
  • Lead customs compliance and clearance efforts by managing documentation, liaising with authorities, and ensuring adherence to trade regulations and internal controls.
  • Oversee end-to-end import/export processes, resolving issues proactively to minimize shipment delays and maintain compliance with current laws and tariffs.
  • Support daily branch operations in coordination with the branch manager, focusing on performance metrics, resource optimization, and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a key liaison for clients and vendors, offering expert guidance on customs documentation and addressing escalations promptly.
  • Coordinate with government bodies and logistics providers to ensure smooth and timely customs processes.
  • Contribute to team development by mentoring staff on customs procedures and promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • A valid H card is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in customs brokerage and operations within the logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, trade laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of import/export documentation requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
