Job Summary
Responsibilities
You will lead and manage the Information Technology organization, inclusive of enterprise applications, business systems supporting various verticals in Finance, Marketing, Customer Experience and Human Resources, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), IT Infrastructure, Operations and platforms.
You will develop a multi-year strategy and roadmap for IT to anticipate and scale to support and enable a high-growth company with double-digit growth.
You will identify, manage and optimize enterprise technology efficiencies, including ensuring resilience of IT systems and infrastructure across our global employee and warehouse footprint
You will anticipate and manage future technology trend challenges and manage risks from technical dependencies
Build a high performing service delivery culture focused on consistency, quality, velocity, and excellent customer service.
Define global IT standards and processes while striving for secure continuous improvement.
Oversee global technical projects in alignment with global project roadmap and organizational goals.
Collaborates closely with multiple internal teams and third-party vendors to plan, design and execute projects that support Companies s global strategies.
Coordinate Global IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.
Identify and recommend new global technology solutions.
Share knowledge and best practices with others while leading by example at all times.
Maintain high standards of ethics and integrity and adheres to legal, compliance and information security requirements.
Negotiate vendor/consultant contracts or portions of larger contracts, adhering to financial guidelines and optimizing the terms for Sotheby s.
Bachelor s degree in Technology, Information Systems, Analysis, Business or relevant degree preferred.
10+ years of professional experience managing and delivering Global IT services and projects in an engineering-heavy technology environment.
5+ years of people management experience.
You are an experienced leader, able to guide teams and executives through complex data-driven decisions.
You possess a deep understanding of IT operations and business systems in the context of resilient business and technology processes.
You have a track record for delivery in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment
You champion and drive a culture of continuous learning to improve execution and remove roadblocks that are holding the team back.
You are a strategic partner who can translate business problems to technology solutions.
You work effectively across the business to influence and create client value.

Requirements
