Senior Data QA Engineer Job in Cynosure Corporate Solutions

Job Description:

• 5+ years of Hands-on experience in SQL and ETL Testing.
• Good at writing complex SQL queries.
• Design, develop, automate, monitor, and maintain data quality assurance processes that transfer data to and from internal and external locations.
• Ensure data integrity as data flows into our systems and into our data warehouse.
• Rational mindset on how the data should be presented on Frontend report and level of frontend manual testing experience as required.
• Follow the defined testing standards and procedures for testing projects.
• Experience on creating Test Scenarios & Test Case Preparation, Test Execution, Defects & status reporting.
• Provide status updates to TL/ PM as required and data for Metrics collection.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of solutions.
• Participate as a team member and foster teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

The candidate must have:

• Experienced in Data Warehousing Projects with good knowledge of ETL testing.
• Experienced in testing big data solutions and involved in Data Validation and Data Monitoring.
• Good knowledge of Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL.
• Strong data handling skills on SQL, RDBMS, NO SQL Databases and DW concepts.
• Experienced in validating Reports/Dashboard on tools like Tableau, MS Power BI etc.
• Developing and implementing test plans and scripts for various data quality processes.
• Understanding of data warehouse approaches, industry standards and industry best practices.
• Good to have knowledge of AWS glue, S3, Amazon Redshift, Scala Library unit testing, SQL Unit Testing.
• Experience in testing the reports in Frontend and knowledge in APIs.
• Should have knowledge of working with Test management tools like Jira.
• Experience in Agile model.
