Job Summary
JD as follows:
Responsibilities Design and implement Netapp/EMC/Hitachi storage systems, including installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.
Should be comfortable to handle multiple client and flexible for field work
Administer Fibre Channel SAN fabrics, including installation, configuration, zoning, software upgrades, and maintenance of switches
Create and maintain system scripts and programs to support the operations of the storage systems
Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues with storage systems, Fibre Channel SAN, and IP storage networking
Should have knowledge on SAN switches, troubleshooting and Configuration
Share 24x7 on-call support
Key Activities / Job Description Provisioning Storage (SAN /NAS - (CIFS/NFS) )
Managing Replication
Troubleshooting issues with refresh scripts
Managing Filers / Vfilers
Fiber Switch Management
Reporting
Storage Monitoring
Ontap Upgrades
Support 24x7 On-Call / night shifts
Performing Audits on Storage Arrays
Essential Knowledge Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of ONTAP 7-mode and C- Mode
Snap manager for Oracle and exchange
Snapmirror, SnapVault, Flexclone
Fiber Channel and iSCSI connections from Unix and Windows hosts.
Experience in Migrations from 7 Mode to C Mode
Desirable Netapp Metro Cluster
Converged, Hyper-Converge and Cloud Storage experience
Experience Preferred 6 to 10 years in Storage Administration:
Experience supporting SAN/NAS storage systems and/or Unix, Windows, or VMware servers in multi-user environments
