Staff System Validation Engr 1 Job in Cypress Semiconductor Corporation

Typical Responsibilities for this job Include

• Validation ofMixed Signal USB Type-C systems.
• Validate hardware and firmware usingautomated or manual methods.
• Analyze Analog ICs and PMMIC
• Provide system level expertise to the design team and attend design reviews to evaluate potential system level problems during the design phase
• Generate and maintain the validation test plans.
• Systematic excution of test plan and maintaing logs.
• Provide customer support for application questions and issues.
• Help cross functional team in debugging and identifying critical issues.

Preferred Skills/ Experience

• Masters / Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics/ power Electronics or equivalent
• 4+ yrs of experience in AC/DC and DC/DC Power products
• Experience with automating testing using lab equipments like DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies.
• Experience inperforming new product and silicon validation
• Experience with testing analog power products
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI compliance and testing
• Familiarity with Firmware Development and coding 'C' langauage.
• Knowledge of USB Type-C PD protocols.
