Manager/financial Operations Job in D. E. Shaw & Co.

Who were looking for

• The ideal candidate should be a CA (CPA would be an added advantage) with four to six years of relevant work experience in financial reporting for global investment or banking entities, handling audits, and ensuring statutory compliances under U.S. GAAP (having an understanding of IFRS and HKIFRS would be an added advantage).
• Attention to detail, proficiency with MS Excel, keen analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills to interact successfully with various stakeholders.
• The candidate must be a highly-motivated individual who can handle all levels of complexity in the respective area of operation. The applicant must be comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment driven by month-close deadlines.
• Prior experience in the hedge fund or investment banking industries is an added advantage.
