We have requirements across various teams that are involved in catering to the trading desk s needs during the life cycle of a trade and in the research, design, development, and standardization of technologies for firm-wide adoption. Additionally, you ll be responsible for projects that will include performing R&D to evaluate the appropriate technologies to use, resolving application and data issues in production within timelines, and driving complete project lifecycles, from collecting and analyzing requirements to project delivery/deployment to clients. You ll provide direction and guidance to junior members of the team and participate actively in code and design reviews. Who we re looking for The candidate should have robust experience in C++/Java/Python, in addition to some or all of the following: React, Redux, RESTful Web Services, Perl, messaging middleware, and databases (SQL Server). Candidates having experience in Spring, Mybatis/ibatis/Hibernate, jQuery, JavaScript and deployment architecture will have an added advantage. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as a demonstrated passion for technology.
