Duties and responsibilities :

• We are looking for an SQL and Data Administrator with practical, hands-on knowledge in on-premises SQL Server and experience in SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services
• Work directly with client stakeholders to support technical solutions for business cases
• You will use your ability to analyze, understand and solve customer problems by providing solutions to ensure that the products are used to their full potential
• Work with project lead and customer to develop data visualizations and storytelling solutions
• Design, develop and maintain database applications for customer-specific projects
• Experience designing relational databases
• Writes and reviews stored procedures, functions, and other programmable objects for high-volume transaction processing systems
• Participates on scrum teams as the SQL expert, helping to move features through the software development lifecycle
• Tunes queries for optimal performance by closely examining execution plan and ensuring appropriate indexing
• Participates in design meetings and recommends optimal performing database designs
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, views, and stored procedures
• Experience in database replication
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of T-SQL and stored procedure development
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of performance topics including
  o Index/SP/View and query tuning
  o Understanding and overcoming poor execution plans
  o Experience setting up and operating SQL server with limited guidance
• Experience in Databases to be taken care of are SQL Server 2012 to 2019, MySQL, Azure Postgres, Azure SQL, NoSQL
• Good understanding of the full development life cycle. Architect and Design leading solutions with a strong focus on security, performance, and scalability
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and cloud (Azure) will be an added advantage

Requirement :

• Must have excellent command over communication (Written and Verbal)
• This role requires an individual to have strong communication skills combined with operational technical knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
