Production Planner Job in Danaher

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Plan production to meet the requirements of the Master Production Schedule, intra-company component plans, manufacturing, and new product development, ensuring efficient operations and maximum integration of demands. Maintain accuracy in the manufacturing system.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with production and engineering personnel across multiple sites, utilizing negotiation and persuasion skills to address critical issues.

• Master Production Schedule: Negotiate changes in the Master Production Schedule to smooth production operations while ensuring finished goods inventory goals and customer service objectives are met.

• Raw Material Management: Assess raw material requirements through Oracle Open Jobs, allocate materials to critical work orders, and manage procurement processes, including Kanban for raw materials based on current demand.

• Inventory and Finished Goods Planning: Oversee finished goods planning, inventory management at the warehouse, and maintain accurate status of demand, schedules, capacity, WIP, and materials. Implement corrective and preventive actions as part of the problem-solving process.

• Scheduling and Adjustments: Schedule production of finished goods and WIP, including picklist releases, and propose alternative schedules to mitigate impacts from foreseeable and unforeseen circumstances.

• Performance Tracking: Track on-time delivery (OTD), number of requests raised to suppliers weekly, and update team members on revenue, backlog, and inventory KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Oracle, advanced Excel, Power BI, documentation processes, and Kanban knowledge is a plus.
