Interior Designer Job in Dash Square

Minimum Qualification Graduate in any stream
We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with good interpersonal skills for the position of Interior Designer.

Responsibilities:

• Outline client design objectives
• Conceptualize and sketch design plans
• Think creatively about the use of space, colour and movement
• Will draw on other artistic mediums for creative inspiration
• Use software to create detailed 2D & 3D designs for projects
• Knowledge of industry, Engineering, math and materials
• Determine cost of completion and project requirement in budgeting phase
• Set a timeline for completion of a interior design project
• Source materials, products which are part of the plan
• Visit after the project to ensure that the client is satisfied
• Data base of architects and structural enginners
• Produce designs, plans, and drawings for construction and installation
• Include floor plans, electrical layouts, and plans needed for building permits
• Draft the preliminary design into documents that could be as simple as sketches or as inclusive as construction documents, with schedules and attachments
• Create dashboard to sample your design videos
• Utilise computer applications in design process
• Post project completion and Customer satisfaction and goals are met
• Innovate on Sustainable designs, Kitchen and bath designers, Lighting designers,
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the design Industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software
• Portfolio of design work A portfolio of all the designs done over the period of time
• Highly creative, imaginative and artistic
• Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision
• Firm grasp of mathematics, engineering and industry information
• Ready to travel
