Job Summary
Job Description: We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development, both front-end and back-end, and a passion for designing and developing highly functional and user-friendly websites. This role will involve working closely with clients to understand their needs and transform those requirements into functional websites. The developer will also be responsible for the overall performance and optimization of live sites. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Interaction and Requirement Gathering: Meet with clients to discuss website design, functionality, and requirements. Provide expert advice and insights regarding website design and functionality. 2. Website Design and Development: Design and implement new website features and functionality. Build the front-end and back-end of WordPress websites, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics. Develop and manage the back-end, including database integration and server setup. 3. Website Architecture: Create and manage website architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Ensure website design is responsive and works seamlessly across various devices and browsers. 4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Conduct regular website performance tests and troubleshoot any content issues. Monitor the performance of live websites, optimizing for speed, user experience, and security. 5. Training and Support: Provide WordPress training to clients, helping them understand how to manage their website. Offer ongoing technical support and maintenance as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of PHP back-end development. Proficiency in WordPress core and plugin development. Experience with WordPress hooks, filters, and customization of themes and plugins. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery. Knowledge of how to integrate and work with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML). Experience with version control tools like Bitbucket, Git, GitHub, or GitLab. Ability to manage and optimize website back-end architecture (databases, servers). Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage client expectations and projects effectively. Quick learner with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Experience: Proven experience in building WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. Experience with website testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
