DecisivEdge is looking to hire an experienced Product Marketing Manager.

This role is based in our Markham, Ontario offices conveniently located near Highways 404 and 407. We are focused on team participation and commit to working a minimum of three days a week in the office and an option of two days a week from home.

Position Summary:

Get ready to make your mark as a Product Marketing Manager. This is an exciting new role where you ll have a big impact on the future of how DecisivEdge operates as a business. In this role, you ll help define and execute the marketing/sales strategy for one of our healthcare or financial services verticals. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for identifying, understanding and solving market or client problems and works closely with sales and product development to define marketing messaging and product features for inclusion in the product roadmap.

This is a high-impact opportunity, and we are looking for folks who are execution-focused, can naturally influence and who communicate with purpose. Partnering with our sales team, you ll require strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to drive action across multiple stakeholders. In this role, you ll build productive relationships with cross-functional teams and need to be a strong team player, help build value-based product roadmaps and manage the prioritization to create a seamless balance between customer experience and time-to-market.

This position works with all global offices and reports to the Director of Digital Marketing in the Markham, Ontario, Canada office.


What You ll Do:

  • Collaboratively support crafting and communicating a marketing roadmap for the aspects of the vertical you own.
  • Research and understand market trends, and be able to assess market opportunities, and be able to build business cases.
  • Conduct ongoing customer and prospective customer conversations to acquire a deep understanding of their needs and pain points to successfully craft engaging content and develop content ideas for your vertical. You will get on the level of the individual customers/prospects of your vertical to identify the right language, tonality, and context.
  • Identify potential technical partners, associations, online publications, and tradeshows to bolster thought leadership and build brand awareness.
  • Executing on marketing roadmap including writing feature requirements, and working with various stakeholders including management, development teams, and others for successful end-to-end delivery and launch of marketing programs. This includes active participation in the creative process, providing suggestions and ideas to help support and drive overall content strategy and demand generation content on social media, blogs, white papers, ebooks, webinars, training materials, websites, sales collateral (brochures, presentations, sell sheets), press releases, promotional emails, and drip campaigns, event collateral and other various marketing initiatives.
  • Fact-check copy with department leads and become a product knowledge expert.
  • Work alongside other Product Managers to review and edit each other s work, and to ensure continuity and synergy across the business.

You Should Apply If You:

  • Have previous relevant experience working with small and medium-sized businesses, or Enterprise customers in the healthcare and financial services verticals.
  • Have a proven track record with delivering SaaS products/services to market from business case thru to Go-To-market and successful customer adoption,
  • Are customer obsessed! Have an in-depth understanding of how successful user experiences are defined.
  • Have a keen ability to synthesize mass data and translate this into experience strategy and marketing roadmap

  • Work collaboratively, communicate proactively, take a team-first mindset, and skillfully give and receive difficult feedback when necessary.

What You ll Need:

  • A degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with product management of a B2B SaaS product or service.
  • Experience with a startup during rapid growth in a scaled B2B SaaS sales operation, exposure to the digital transformation space, and understanding of machine learning and/or artificial intelligence are all very helpful.
  • A desire for trailblazing within a division of a larger company. We want people to own and drive their role.
  • Exemplary presentation skills, both in-person and digitally
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal) and convey complex, technical concepts simply
  • Hands-on experience in content research, strategy, and content writing.
  • Be a creative storyteller, with the proven ability to bring out an authentic brand voice across various communication vehicles.
  • Curiosity always in search of the next story. Know how to find it and tell it effectively.
  • A great attitude, energy, and willingness to jump into any project.
  • Project management skills the ability to develop topics and research, interview internal resources and clients, and build concrete communication plans.
  • Focus on business outcomes experience with direct response marketing, sales, and successful campaign management.
  • The ability to easily synthesize data, use cases, and best practices into compelling stories that engage our target audiences.
