PHP Developer (Full-time, On-site) Surat, Gujarat

We re looking for a talented, full-time PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Surat, Gujarat. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and developing new projects using PHP-based frameworks and platforms, writing custom code, and architecting innovative solutions tailored to our clients' needs. If you're passionate about PHP development and have a knack for problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you. Applicants will be asked to share work samples and may be invited to complete a coding challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Magento, etc.)
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices
• Create custom solutions for clients and collaborate with the team to deliver top-quality results
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
• Contribute to the architecture of new systems and features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met

Basic Requirements:

• At least 1+ years of experience in PHP web development
• Strong expertise in PHP object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiar with automated deployment processes
• Solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for finding optimal solutions to problems
• Keen interest in continuous learning and staying current with industry developments

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with popular platforms and frameworks, including WordPress, Magento, Core PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems and server administration
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, including libraries like jQuery
• Experience with web service integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Familiarity with various testing practices and methodologies
• Willingness to take ownership of production-level code and contribute to the overall success of the project

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with other programming languages (Go, Python, Ruby)
• Familiarity with a range of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
• Knowledge of caching and scalability techniques
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS
• Familiarity with Zurb Foundation framework
• Contributions to open-source projects
