Job Summary

Job Description:

1. Check and ensure that all guestrooms, public areas, back of the house areas are clean and well maintained.

2. Inspect the work done by team members.

3. Prepare staff schedules and duty rotas.

4. Check periodical stock taking and maintaining of stock records for linen, equipments etc..

5. Provide necessary information to assist executive housekeeper in staff evaluation, disciplining, termination and promotion.

6. Develop and implement training programs within the department in consultation with the executive housekeeper.

7. Assist executive housekeeper in forecasting and budgeting for operating and capital expenditure.

8. Take charge of housekeeping department in absence of executive housekeeper.

Job Expectations:

1. Should have working knowledge of rooms management, cost control and overall productivity.

2. In depth knowledge of assisting in monitoring team members performances and working towards further development

3. Highly skilled in planning, coordinating and directing all daily activities pertinent to departments.

4. Ability to multitask, Excellent organizational skills and Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum Qualification:

Relevant

Minimum Job Experience:

9-10 years with atleast 1-2 years of experience in the same role with good luxury resort brands

Reporting to:

Executive Housekeeper/CMD

Travel:

As per requirement
