Overview

As a Test Automation Lead in Finance Technology for Daily Close Program, you will be working as a part of testing transformation team that manages implementation of test automation best practices including recommendations of tools and frameworks across Front to back landscape of Data sourcing, Sub-ledger, General Ledger and reporting layers of finance. In this role, you will work in partnership with the Agile and DevOps functions to proactively engage test teams to make sure the testing processes are align to overall transformation objectives. You will be required to help the subdomains identify, assess, manage the test automation needs including any bespoke solution to increase the testing effectiveness where appropriate.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide Test Automation management, leadership and technical guidance to Testing teams across the 03 streams of the program.
• Define Automated Testing Strategies, Selection of right set of tools and develop testing framework.
• Liaise with other programme streams (Architecture, SG/DB core build, Upstream, Downstream, Business, Operations, infrastructure services) and define potential areas of automation, identifying best tools, creation of Automation suite/scripts
• Works to design and implement functional tests that will ensure there is coverage of both expected and unexpected behavior.
• Actively seek opportunities to leverage central Automation testing services wherever deemed appropriate.
• Connect the respective program application frameworks together to form an orchestration layer.
• Develop a automation reporting framework that provide user friendly reports on coverage and execution stats across the program application automation framework.

Your skills and experience

• Experience with UI automation with UFT, Selenium, Pyhton, Java or Test Complete, with a BDD (Behavior Drive Development)/ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) frameworks like Cucumber/SpecFlow/JBehave.
• Experience of Service and API testing with clear understanding of various components of micro service architecture.
• Experience working with continuous integration tools for testing such as Jenkins and TeamCity.
• Knowledge of Test management tools like ALM, ALM Octane, S4JIRA and JIRA along with documentation platforms like Confluence and SharePoint.
• Experience of building automation frameworks along with clear understanding of both the testing and development lifecycles
