Job Title: AVP LDAP Governance

Location: Pune, India

Job Description Summary

The Engineer designs and develops application code, implements technical solutions, and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. To meet the requirements of the business, the Engineer actively participates in the design and architecture of the application or its components, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, promotes re-usability of existing components and contributes to the creation of frameworks. Assists more junior members of the team and controls their work where applicable.

Your key responsibilities

• Liaising with LDAP data consumer applications to resolve outstanding security issues such as
• Unsecure binds to the directory
• Incorrect usage of LDAP (e.g. the deletion of values from attributes rather than the correct way of removing the attribute from the entry / or uniquemember attributes containing non dn entries )
• Data Mining to gather information of incorrect usage or legacy data which requires removal (including acis which are no longer required due to application retirements)
• Attending LDAP Governance meetings to discuss progress with ongoing security / and data related issues.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Experience required 10+ years of industry experience

• Assisting the support team with Level 3 support in case of production issues where levels 1 and 2 cannot fix the issues with ODSEE
• Assisting the design and deployment of OUD the successor to ODSEE.
• Developing and modifying scripts which are used for the deployments and data imports to and from AD / HR and other areas.
• Enhancing the monitoring and fault detection of the LDAP Environment
• Testing and preparing security patches to be deployed to production environments (for example Java and Directory patches
