Role Description - Summary:

Deutsche Bank is actively renewing its digital channels and has started many strategic and challenging projects. Next to some major technological changes Deutsche Bank has decided to step into the Agile software development methodology in order to improve its agility and reduce time to market without scarifying quality

As an integration developer you will bring TIBCO Systems and application integration design and development skills to enforce the group of developers within a Squad. You will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Banks digitalization journey.

Your key responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Design and discuss your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks
  • Develop and unit-test,
  • Integrate, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Perform peer code review
  • Actively participate into the squad activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up/scrum meeting
  • Actively participate and Dev chapter lead activities
  • Apply continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)
  • Collaborate with other squad members to achieve the Squad/Sprint objectives
  • Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)
  • Manage individual task priorities and deliverables
  • Responsible for quality of solutions the he/she provides
  • Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities,

Support the PO, Analyst and Scrum Master

Your skills and experience

  • Has extensive software integration design and development experience using TIBCO BusinessWorks
  • Has experience with Java message oriented technology: JMS
  • Has experience with DevOps tools e.g; GIT, TeamCity, Maven, SONAR
  • Good understanding of REST architectural style, MicroServices concepts and technologies
  • Experience with software design patterns and UML design
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • Experience with distributed/multi-locations teams
  • Familar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Familiar with Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Understand and promote Agile values: FROCC (Focus, Respect, Openess, Commitment, Courage)
  • Good communication skills
  • Pro-active teamplayer
  • Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organised teams
  • Professional knowledge of English
  • Differentiators: knowledge/experience about
    • Java JEE and Spring Boot development
