Educational Background: BE Mech/Electrical/Civil

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare the transit documents for Equipment and couplers to be dispatched in various States all those documents are prepared in Excel.
• Book transit insurance policies in relation with goods or equipment s being dispatched (direct to insurance company);
• Prepare Nation-wide transit lead time chart with the procedure/ documentation/ Forms etc. as required for various States.
• Overlooks customs clearing of imported finished goods with C&F agent;
• Analyze the custom clearing charges and provide comparative cost of competitive agent on quarterly basis.
• To provide the C&F Agents Bills linked with the Advance given for consignment clearance on monthly basis.
• Looks after consigned shipments from DHL follow airways bills tracking over the internet, mainly for those parts shipped by DM > Pass information to Factory and/or Operations;
• Coordinate with transport companies for dispatch of equipment s on site;
• Prepare and dispatch an EOM report showing details and summary of transportation charges for both goods and equipment s > PL Manager.
• Ensure cost control measures for Transport charges and Clearing / Forwarding charges.

• Doing spends base analysis for logistics cost.
• Finalizing rate contracts with suppliers for cost saving & service improvements.

Monitoring import & export transactions including custom clearance, FEMA compliance, duty saving.

Support in the stock planning functions to PL Manager. Responsible to liaise, co-ordinate, & be proactive to close all the relevant/ responsible areas before the closure of books of accounts (i.e., by 4th of every month)
