Job Description

• • Hands on experience in Ruby on rails.

  • You need to be excited about the problem that we are trying to solve

  • Should have excellent command over ruby on rails with a minimum experience of 4 years.

  • Strong Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge

  • Should have created APIs from scratch which is being used in Production

  • Should be comfortable with creating systems handling up to 100k requests per minute, and have a mindset that understands scale

  • Ability to give clarity and communicate well with the team, including Product, Backend and Dev-Ops

  • Ability to use profiling tools well, getting to root causes of bugs fast

  • Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)

  • DBAs must monitor the database performance and evaluate complex information coming from a variety of sources

  • Suggest and implement service improvements for enhancing monitoring and alerting

  • Review & deployment of Database end artifacts

  • Integrity Verifying or helping to verify data integrity

  • Security Defining and/or implementing access controls to the data

  Skills and Experience Required:

  • PostgreSQL

  • R Spec

  • Sidekiq

  • Understanding of BDD/TDD and relevant tools in Ruby

  • Know, and adhere to, the SOLID principles

  • Knowledge of Dependency Injection (conceptually and in code)

  • Knowledge of testing (stubs, mocks, etc.)

  • Clean code concepts (focus on: naming conventions, reduced complexity of code, preferably more clear than clever)

  • Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors (such as SASS)
