Job Description

  • This role is subject to AST billing rates, productivity, utilization and total chargeability metrics.
    Only billable/direct client chargeable employees are to be placed in this role. Works on billable
    engagements to provide support, advice and guidance on the correct application of a services
    solution or technique. Designs, develops and implements solutions by using standard methods,
    techniques and tools. Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new
    assignments. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of
    identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for
    obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of
    expertise. A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of
    specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Viewed by clients as a
    consultant. Performance is typically evaluated based on the capture of the consulting
    engagement and/or utilization, (i.e., billable hours).
    Applies a broad range of theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to assignments
    involving complex features.
    Responsible for end to end solution design for small to medium projects.
    Defines client needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project.
    Participates in RFP/SOW business development work and thought leadership.
    Carries out strategic reviews of applications and architecture to ensure IT is aligned to business
    needs.
    Contributes to technology plans.
    Participates in recommendations on applications, software, infrastructure, network, and security
    requirements to clients
    Performs business case analysis for technology options and scenarios.
    Acts as an assignment manager on small and medium-sized assignments of low complexity.
    Leads small teams of two or six consultants while responsible for quality, profit and project
    planning.
    Receives training in sales, operating assignments and communication skills. Where appropriate,
    personal career development, potentially resulting in promotion to Manager, will be encouraged.
    Qualifications-Requires a minimum of 5 years consulting experience plus a Bachelor s degree
    OR 3 years consulting experience and a Master's degree without experience OR equivalent work
    experience. Prior work experience should include:
    Exposure to business development and presales support
    Experience leading and mentoring other team members
    No direct "people management" responsibilities. May assign and review tasks for junior level
    project or practice members, provide appropriate mentoring, provide feedback and work with
    junior team members onperformance feedback, training and professional
