Job Summary
Execution
- Follow up with the vendors and other related parties.
- Ensure proper record keeping of all the expenses incurred for procurement
- Execute all activities related to procurement of material, from intent of purchase to timely delivery and upholding the quality of the material
- Prepare documents such as contracts, bids, proposals and vendor agreements, price quotes and acceptance to terms and specifications for legal purposes
- Resolve vendor claims and contracts and ensure adherence to company policy
Quality and Standards
- Work towards system improvement in procurement and material handling and report to the Indirect Procurement Aggregator on the same
- Maintain good professional relationships with suppliers who provide high quality products and services at a more cost effective price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct
- Identify the need to recruit new suppliers and report matters pertaining to this to the Indirect Procurement Aggregator
- Prepare the MIS and highlight major deviations in the plan
- Provide inputs related to Vendor Rating and Supplier Risk Mitigation to the Senior Management for design of strategies. Provide support for implementation of the finalized strategies
Support and Coordination
- Keep track of vendors and other related parties.
- Data record of expenses related to procurement.
