Job Summary
Assists technicians in the repair of automobiles and other vehicles and/or small engines. Picks up and delivers stranded fleet vehicles and vehicles sent out for repair. Picks up and delivers parts for the automotive and small engine shops, as needed. Details vehicles, both interior and exterior, as required. Assists in the provision of customer service through the use of appropriate written and verbal communication skills in the handling of work orders, delivery documents, and check-in forms. May perform basic repairs and maintenance such as flat tire repair, oil changes, vehicle lubrication, or other duties as specifically assigned by mechanics or supervisors. Performs shop maintenance and clean-up. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
