Job Summary
- 5 years experience working in Observability / SRE / DevOps / Performance.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructures, particularly AWS.
- In-depth experience designing at-scale monitoring and logging for corporate infrastructure services.
- Expert-level experience in monitoring and logging technologies, both open source and closed source (e. g. NewRelic, Datadog, Splunk, SumoLogic, ELK).
- Must have strong automation/scripting skills - proficiency in Python or Ruby is a plus.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation, running books, and procedures.
- Experience with alert and notification management (like Alertmanager, PagerDuty, and Slack integrations).
- Experience with building dashboards (like Grafana, Loki, Sumologic, and Tenable).
- Experience with distributed tracing tools.
- Experience measuring the Golden Signals and DORA metrics.
- Must have an understanding of SLI/SLO and the ability to implement observability tools.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
- A detail-oriented engineer, who is eager to learn and is passionate about developing software.
- Ability to define a high-level strategy for operations monitoring and risk mitigation.
