Lead Qa - Automation Job in Digital Management

About the Opportunity

DMI is seeking aLead QA Automation.

Experience: 5 - 6 Years experience in Automation testing

Location: Preferred - Bengaluru & Mumbai, (Noida - If any candidate is interested and available)

Responsibilities Include: The person shall be responsible for setting up the Automation framework and Creating the Automation Scripts and fixing the errors and keep the automation scripts stable, which will be running after the stage build and for regression testing.

1. Automation:

Understanding requirements and the functionality of the application

Understand the Test cases and convert them into the Automation test cases.

To create and manage the test environments

Manage the Automation Scripts and keep them up to date

Execution of test scripts after every stage build and record the results

Proactively work with Scrum team and QA Team and Drive the quality

Review and Analyse the test scripts and raise bugs, if any test scripts failed due to the bug in the system

Monitor the scripts and send the daily test result reports to the lead

To manage and maintain automation scripts

To master framework development

2. Leadership and Reporting:

Must be able to schedule, plan and track the automation test activities

Must be able to plan and design the automation testing strategies

Ability to track and manage the activities related to the automation

Set the expectations to the team on the completing the tasks on time and meeting the deadlines

Qualifications

Requirements Include:

1. Automation Experience:

Test automation framework experience such as Cucumber, Data Driven and hands on experience with Selenium

Must have experience in testing applications and writing the automation scripts in the cucumber framework

Should have knowledge on the Hybrid, Keyword and Data Driven frame works

Hands on experience with selenium preferably with Java

Performance and security testing will be an add on.

Should have experience with integration of third-party tools Sauce labs, Extent Report

Should have experience in Jenkins (CI/CD) and Git hub

2. Soft Skills

Creative solving of technical problems

Ability to understand and take decision on the test cases that to be automated

To communicate bugs/issues to the developers and other stakeholders

Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables ensures the ability to find the defects at the early stage using automation

3. Functional/Technical Skills

Experiences in Selenium with Java concepts

Experience in Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodology

Understanding of a Defect Lifecycle

Prepare Automation Scripts

Generate daily and weekly Reports
