The role of the Strategic Alliance Partner is focused on managing, nurturing and growing our business relationship with select large Pharma clients of Docon. The role will include customer relationship management and business development activities. The job will involve working with executives and decision makers various business units within Pharma companies. Candidate with Medical Research background and a track record of sales achievement will be preferred.


Your Part:

  • Manage and grow our business relationship with Pharma companies in India.
  • Develop account plans and implement strategies to grow the key accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships; collaborate with Solution Consultants to engage with both users and senior client executives to ensure close understanding of needs and confirm utilisation of our solutions
  • Identify opportunities and prospects with detailed research on accounts and market segment in general
  • Provide accurate and complete market feedback on competition, new product concepts, service issues, and customer requirements as well as marketing opportunities like seminar, trade show and other programs
  • Design research reports/products for clients to support strategic marketing decisions and brand planning insights on prescriber behaviors, patient journeys, outcome studies, etc.
  • Anticipate clients needs and, in collaboration with internal teams- sales, analytics, product management to develop and present proposed analytical solutions / thought leadership content to clients
  • Adopt consultative sales approach in engaging with clients and prospects
  • Deliver exceptional client service consistently
  • As part of the Pharma Partnerships group you will be involved in creating deliverables for the company s pharma clients.


We Look For:

  • Must demonstrate a sustained (2 years) and successful track record in market research, analytics and Account Management.
  • Updated on and having a good understanding and knowledge of the Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical/ Life Sciences landscape in India (v. imp)
  • Selling professional services to Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Clinical Research
  • Demonstrable experience of deploying customer driven approach and good customer engagement skills will be preferred
  • Organizations, OR consulting experience in Life Science practice of professional services/ market research firms OR experience working in marketing (PMT) team at pharma companies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong analytical and communications skills for creating presentations, reports and writing proposals. Knowledge of data & analytical tools/packages will be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel is expected


Education Qualification:

Strong undergraduate degree in: Economics/Business/Engineering/Statistics/Life Sc.

  • MBA degree from Tier 1 Universities will be an advantage.
