Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities Identifying the organisation's purchasing needs Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products from quality vendors Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders Arranging transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery Understanding the target market and analysing trends to make informed buying decisions Coordinating with Business Units Monitoring the quality and escalating any discrepancies to vendors and management Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. Meets with store associates and the customer relationship management team to get feedback. Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to analyze performance and make improvements. Partners with Business Units to ensure that Procurement is treated as a go-to for all BU issues QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Bachelor s degree with specialization in supply chain, Engineers preferred 5 to 7 years prior procurement experience Excellent computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint) Proficient in ERP Critical thinking and strong negotiating skills Impeccable attention to detail Strong communication skills, oral and written Ability to work well with a team Ability to deal with ambiguity associated with a high-growth environment Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment Analytical skills Creative mindset Possess DPW operating principles
