Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer with a strong background in automation testing, particularly using Selenium with Java. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated and manual testing techniques, continuous collaboration, and an innovation-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and document defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies aligned with software requirements.
- Design and execute manual test cases to ensure full coverage of application features.
- Apply BDD (Behavior Driven Development) methodologies using Cucumber.
- Conduct regression and performance testing to validate application stability.
- Enhance existing automation frameworks and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in test planning, reviews, and team Agile ceremonies.
- Stay current with industry trends and new tools/technologies in the QA space.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing, with strong proficiency in:
- Selenium
- Java
- Cucumber / BDD
- TestNG
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in Agile environments.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and a strong sense of teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with JUnit, JMeter, or similar testing tools.
- Familiarity with performance testing techniques.
- Hands-on knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
