• API Architect will be responsible for the architecture, design of the API platform from the ground floor and will help ensure its scalable, reliable and performance is in mind.
• 5 years integration development experience in Google APIGEE and Pubsub
• 2-3 years integration development experience in Google Cloud storage , cloud functions
• The individual will also work with the other engineering teams throughout the company to promote the use of APIs
• This person also will really be an advocate for the API Platform and have the ability to work with both the business and technical teams.
• From the technical perspective this person will lead the architecture of the API Management platform and must have experience standing up an API Management platform in the past.
• The individual will guide to implement the API layer requirements, and create custom policies in Java, JavaScript, NodeJs and Python.
• Apigee Architecture and Design experience Expert level implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) Expert level experience with API design standards, patterns, best practices (Swagger, Microservices, etc)
• Experience applying security best practices to API platforms (OAuth, TLS, throttling etc)
• Experience working with the business to understand their requirements and how to approach the problem they are looking to solve.
• Experience building enterprise applications Passion for building scalable, secure and performance based applications
• Experience working in a PaaS, SaaS and IaaS environment
• Bonus Points Apigee Certification
