POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:


The Sr. Applications Analyst (Oracle EBS Financials Functional) position is a highly motivated individual who is responsible for the definition, design, and support of solutions in support of business requirements. The candidate will be responsible for the functional requirements definition, solution design, implementation, and maintenance of systems applications. The candidate will work with various IT groups and business users in defining, prioritizing, and executing application projects and enhancements. Additionally, the candidate will play a critical role of ensuring that developers have adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements and specifications related to applications.


DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:


  • Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical business user constituencies.
  • Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations.
  • The ability to interview various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/process and then create detailed, specific and comprehensive documentation.
  • Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions.
  • Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team, Developer Team and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective solution.
  • Expert understanding and ability to analyze and query application data schema.
  • Manage components of a project plan or entire small-scale projects.
  • Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations.
  • Verification of feasibility of Business Users request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
  • Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Skills:

  • Experience level: 7+ years
  • Through knowledge on Oracle Financials is mandatory: AP, AR, CM, GL
  • Treasury knowledge is preferable (secondary skill)
  • Knowledge on O2C, P2P is preferred.
  • The candidate should be able to handle the client, the CRPs, the UATs etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills required to analyze requirements, identify improvements in business processes, and write functional/technical requirements.
  • Experience in testing functionality against business requirements.
  • Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies.
  • Experience with global system implementations and engaging with multiple business units
  • Project management experience and proficiency with PM methodology.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
  • Able to effectively lead and motivate small project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.



Salary : 2,50,000 - 7,00,000 P.A.
