1. Good understanding of basic chart types and its usage in business and data context.
2. KPI Design: Ability to formulate and implement functional KPIs such as rolling averages, YTD summations etc.
3. Experience with report parameterization and what-if scenarios shall be a plus.
4. Authorization framework: Should have basic understanding of authorization frameworks and its implementation aspects (Roles etc.).
5. Good experience is expected with SQL queries, joins, different aggregation types and database access mechanisms (Locks, Commits etc.)
6. Data loading and delta load implementations: Should have experience in designing and implementing delta data loading scenarios.
7. Experience in scripting with any one of below:
a. DAX and M (For Power BI).
b. QlikView Scripting.
8. Knowledge of basic statistics will be good to have (Standard deviations, t-test, annova etc.).
9. Knowledge of R and/or python will be an advantage.
10. Certification in any one or more reporting tools will be an advantage (Specially Power BI).
