Job Summary
- To create optimal design solutions of offshore wind foundation structures with a focus on secondary and tertiary steel work
- Produce design substantiation calculations to demonstrate design meets requirements from first principles or existing design calculations using hand calculations and or Finite Element Software such as SACS, Abaqus etc. The structural elements to be designed will include, but is not limited to, the following list;
- External, internal and rest platforms of jacket structures
- Beam sizing
- Equipment supports
- Ladders and stairs
- J Tubes
- Grout lines
- Boat Landing system
- Welded and bolted joints
- Liaise with CAD team to produce and check structural drawings
- Author and update technical documentation
- Manage delivery against Time, Cost and Quality requirements
- Support our Quality Assurance processes by reviewing (or checking) colleagues work
