This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Initiates communication with customers with unexplained past due invoices.
  • Records and reports volume of outgoing & incoming customer communication.
  • Responds to incoming customer communication within 48 work hours.
  • Records customer responses in the AR system.
  • Provides customer service and develops relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Communicates with customer service, pricing, plant & technical sales representatives to resolve issues reported by customers.
  • Checks periodically for each customer if there are invoices to be uploaded & uploads them.
  • Follows up on rejected invoices to ensure resolution. Ensures that all requests for uploading and fulfilled within the TAT and no requests roll over to the following month.Market, train, counsel, advise, and communicate credit department policy and procedures to company personnel.
  • Performs other tasks as & when required by the department/team.
  • Participates actively in department projects and takes an active role in cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives.
  • Abides by Robinson-Pattman Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Cannons of Business Credit Ethics, and Eaton Ethics Policy at all times.

Qualifications

Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree Required (Business, Finance, Commerce)

  • 3-5 years Business to Business Credit/Collection Experience.

  • Effective business writing and professional communication skills

  • Experience utilizing Oracle 11i required, Oracle R12, SAP, GetPaid preferred

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Internet, and related computer skills

  • Demonstrated Effective Customer Service Skills.

  • Demonstrated Effective Negotiation Skills.

  • Worked independently, decisively and timely

  • Adapted to change, plans and prioritizes as required

  • Willing to work US hours (6pm to 3am IST)
