This position will be based in Pune and responsible for working with Indirect Category Managers, supporting the activities related to RFX, Eaton Standard Sourcing Process, Ariba - eRFQs and eAuctions. The principal role of the Associate Analyst - Indirect Sourcing is to provide direct support to Category Managers to do pilot and implementation of ESSP activities.. This position will act as an Ariba consultant for Global CMs and will also be responsible for training suppliers and buyers on e-auction tools and processes.

• Identifies, leads and drives complex sourcing projects across relevant business area
• Execute on the developed category strategy for the aligned spend categories, with ownership of the strategic sourcing project portfolio (local, regional and global)
• Knowledge of RFX Management (RFQ Preparation, Management & Release)
• RFI / RFQ Management Request RFI or RFQs from suppliers, and in-depth analysis of RFQs, preparation of Sourcing Work Books and recommendation to commodity managers on the preferred sourcing solutions.
• Follow up with vendors/Suppliers to get Quotes on time
• Spend Analysis - Understand Part-Level Commercial Data (Where Used,EAU, Forecasted Usage / Product Life Cycle)
• Daily/Weekly communication with internal stakeholder & external Stakeholders
• Support for Pilot, implement Eaton Standard Sourcing process.
• Execute competitive quotes. Identify additional potential suppliers, conduct due diligence on suppliers, contact suppliers to communicate requirements, evaluate quotes received and share findings with the end user.
• Evaluates supplier quotes and provides an award recommendation to the end user.
• Reviews, screens and scrutinizes supplier responses and communicates questions to the appropriate stakeholders15.Good exposure to data analytics, process automations, macros, etc

Qualifications

Qualification

• Bachelors Degree with 4-6 years of experience OR Masters with 3-5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing
• 4-6 years in Supply Chain Management preferably in Indirect Sourcing with categories like Professional Services, CAPEX, Facilities, MRO, Packaging, IT & Telecom Experience in handling indirect Sourcing & Procurement processes
• Need to have knowledge of Guided Buying
• Should have demonstrated the Project Management skills
• Understands supply chain nuances
• Need to have working Knowledge of any ERP Oracle
• Certification- Any certification in supply management like CPSM, CSM is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent knowledge with MS office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project)
• Expertise in e-sourcing tools (E-RFQ/E-Auctions) specifically Ariba platform
• Expertise in Spend Analysis
• Strong Business & Financial acumen: Understanding how markets work
• Excellent communication written and verbal
• Change management skills: Effective influencer who can make persuasive arguments
• Quick response to deadlines
• Executing activities and working autonomously with minimal direction
• Aware of Business Continuity Plan
