Engineer- Software Testing Job in Eaton Corporation

Job Description

• Have strong understanding of Web applications and desktop applications
• Should have hands on experience with Selenium using JAVA and Cucumber like framework
• Have hands on experience in QA processes and concepts
• Should be excellent in identifying & writing complex TestCases
• Should have good knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and JAMA
• Should be good at writing sql queries and understand DB structure and test
• Should be have some exposure to non functional testing like performance etc
• Have understanding of Webapi
• Any exposure to cloud technologies would be added advantage
• Any understanding on electrical devices and protocols like MODBUS, SNMP would be added advantage
• Candidate should be ready to explore, learn and develop solutions for problems
• Candidate should be extremely flexible in terms of technology or platforms.
• Should have worked in Agile

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelors in Engineering in CS or Electronics or MCA.
• 4-6 yrs of experience in software QA experience
• 2+ yrs of experience using Selenium with Java
• 2+ yrs of working with web applications and desktop applications
• 1+ yrs of experience on SQL queries
• 1+ yrs of expereince with performance testing
• Proven experience to develop test plans and test strategies
• Prover track record at making Go - No Go decisions for a project/ product.
• Proeficient with QA concepts
• Proefficient with Agile concepts
• Proefficient with Selenium with JAVA
• Understanding of Test Automation framework
• Efficient with VBA, VBScripts is an advantage
• Knowledge of protocols like MODBUS or SNMP is an advantage.
• Very good communication skill
• Able to lead QA efforts from technical perspective
• Able to think outside of the box in terms of process innovation
• Very good at managing multiple tasks
• Very good at understanding and prioritizing tasks, issues and work.
