This exciting role offers opportunity to:

• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Coding, Testing, and Release) following a structured engineering process to ensure quality and reliability
• Collaborate with external and internal customers, such as Product Management, Field Service, Operations and other Engineering teams during the product development life cycle
• Lead and develop IOT applications and solutions in C#.NET environment and breakdown system into components and assign to team members.
• Develop supporting engineering documentation including software requirements specifications, design documentation and design verification test plans
• Ensure the product specifications are complete, accurate and achievable
• Estimate work load, establish and maintain project schedules and monitor progress through the project execution phases
• Drive software design/Architecture with a team of engineers both locally and remote
• Contribute to teams technical growth by engaging in technical discussion and mentoring
• Search for technologies which would improve product performance, reduce development time or reduce cost
• Drive and adapt best Software development practices /principles to improve productivity, quality and recommend software tools to management and architecture teams. (Especially Devops practices)
• Maintain job knowledge by studying software development techniques and programming languages. Participate in educational opportunities and read professional publications.
• Work with platforms teams to identify opportunities to collaborate and develop IOT solutions.
• Mentor team members and juniors on technical and functional fronts

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering

• 8-11 years of progressive experience in developing and designing technology solutions

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering

• 8-11 years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products.

• Minimum 4+ years experience developing enterprise/cloud grade, highly scalable web-based applications and/or distributed systems using Agile methodologies on Windows/Linux platforms

• Extensive experience in Full stack development and building applications using Angular,CSS, HTML5, React, JS or any other UI framework technologies and C#, .Net etc..

• Experience in designing and building commercial cloud services on Azure IoT or Azure cloud (or similar) with a strong emphasis on scalability, availability and reliability.

• Sound knowledge of design patterns Singleton, Dependency Injection, Repository, etc

• Knowledge of handling asynchronous requests and performance optimization techniques.

• Solid understanding of networking protocols and concepts (websockets, http, tcp, mqtt, amqp)

• Knowledge of NoSQL solutions (AWS Dynamo DB, Cassandra, MongoDB, Azure Tablestorage, etc) and unstructured data processing are highly desirable

• Working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) /Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts, tools, and technologies.

• Knowledge of security concepts such as encryption, certificates, and key management.

• Strong familiarity with PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS technologies

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts

• Highly collaborative, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire for continuous improvement

• Desired:

• Knowledge of cloud development platforms such as AWS, or BlueMix

• Knowledge of security concepts such as encryption, certificates, and key management

• Experience with Mobile applications on Andriod and iOS platforms

• Experience in Automation and control system industry or similar

• Experience with C/C++ applications
