• Responsible for assisting the India Manager Finance, Operations in managing the financial plans and roll forecast work of the Vehicle Group in India.Brings a clear understanding of business performance and identifies growth, margin expansion, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Drives the competency of FP&A structure across the country.Provides financial insight, critical thinking, and leadership to improve the finance/operating results.
• Primarily responsible for assisting the Country Controller India in managing the financial plans and roll forecast work of Vehicle Group India.
• Bring a clear understanding of the business performance and identifying growth, margin expansion, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Provide financial insight, critical thinking, and leadership to improve financial results.
• Coordinates requirements and works very closely with all teams.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial results package on an accurate and timely basis.
• Perform a leading role in the consolidation and analysis of the Profit Plan, Rolling Forecast and Strategic Plans for the country
• Perform and manage variance analysis for the key financial metrics driving business performance. Explain and interpret results against monthly, quarterly and annual profit plans and rolling forecasts.
• Works with global team in the APAC & United States to deliver forecast & planning related requirements and support the Manufacturing/Commercial Controller to ensure the alignment across the country.
• Improve financial reporting quality, standardization and efficiency for all sites in the country.
• Drive continuous improvement in the countrys FP&A capabilities across the country.
• Assist in preparation of business reviews and presentations to senior management. Leads special projects as needed.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly operational results for VG India Financial package on an accurate and timely basis (including CONC, WC,FLEX, HC and CAPEX etc.)
• Perform a leading role in the operational data preparation, consolidation and analysis of the Profit Plan, Rolling Forecast and Strategic Plans for the country.

Qualifications

• Degree inaccounting/finance
• Fluent inEnglish.
• 10+ years ofdirectly related accounting/finance experience.
• Requiresthorough understanding of U.S. GAAP reporting
• Excellentknowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Experiencein handling an ERP system in a manufacturing environment, knowledge with Encore/DFT and Oracle will be preferred
• Workingknowledge of Excel, word and Power Point
• Technicallyproficient in accounting and business processes
• Experienceworking and managing in high-performance, quality-oriented, team-basedworkplaces
