This exciting role offers opportunity to:


  • Excellent data analysis skills. Ability to understand data in its wider context and in handling large data sets with ability to convert it in to meaningful information.

  • Comfortable with unstructured data/facts with ability to synthesize into comprehensible and insightful information.

  • Assist in managing reporting; timely and accurate extracting and compiling of data from multiple SCM data systems and tools.

  • Critically review key process steps for potential improvements & automation aiming at integrity of data systems & tools. This includes but is not limited to supporting the team to improve the effectiveness of data and tools/systems in use.

  • Use analytical skills to detect errors upfront in any information received before processing further.

  • Proactive in detecting and resolving problems and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Timely escalation of issues whenever necessary.

  • Must have the ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data and recommend solutions based on the findings.

  • Ability to co-ordinate with different functional heads/personnel as per the need and ability to take on other tasks as assigned from time to time.

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions

  • Generate standards or custom reports summarizing business, financials, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders

  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau etc.

  • Continually research new technology and tools to improve business analytics

  • Follow through the timelines committed and can work on tight deadlines

  • Proactively /as nominated get involved in entity level initiatives. Also represent function in various councils and forums.

  • Monitor for relevant competitive procurement opportunities, managing the bid opportunities, Analyze RFQs, RFPs and RFIs to create proposal outlines, baseline analytics and development plans

  • pipeline and circulating opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders

  • Able to identify optimization and automation scope

  • Work with leadership to prioritize business and information needs

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team

  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics activities like Freight Payment & Audit, Transportation, Freight Analytics, warehouse, customer service.

  • Evaluate, develop new vendors / suppliers / service providers - monitoring & measuring their performances & services renewing / terminating their contract.

  • Supporting in all regional Logistics Reporting & Analysis, Monitor Metrics & Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets


Qualifications

Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree with about 6 - 8 Yrs. exp.in Supply Chain Operations and Program Management

  • Have a good understanding of logistics cost factors and global supplier base

  • Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Reporting and Analytics - should have good experience on data analysis, report preparation and presentation to project team

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization, from associates to leadership

  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

  • Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics

  • Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion

  • Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing

  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI Visio & Project)
