Acquisition Editor/Acquisition Specialist

Division: Code Red
Department: Content Team

Key Responsibilities: Carry out research to understand the depth, feasibility and the potential of the assigned topic. Get familiar with the assigned topic to understand the customer requirement and find the right resource to offer the best solution. Headhunt experienced professionals/trainers/experts on various technologies to author video courses. Clearly explain the expected quality of work, gauge their experience on the topic and mutually negotiate terms of agreements with the experts to recruit them as authors Evaluate the submissions by the authors resolving errors making it customer friendly. Build a professional network and engage professionals to get the courses authored and reviewed, hence supporting the project pipeline.

Primary Skills: Thorough web researcher with the ability to find the right resources and contacts syncing it to the requirement. Keen futurists to bring the latest advancement to the world by collaborating with enterprises and professionals to help them compete with the faced paced world Deep customer insight to help drive technical discussions with the authors to provide best and unique solutions via video training courses. Strong written and verbal communication skills Effective time management and excellent interpersonal skills

Qualification: Graduate, Engineering, MBA or both would be preferred Experience in Media/Publishing/eLearning industry would be added advantage
