Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities


We require a candidate with excellent English language writing and editing skills.

The candidate will report directly to the Editor-in-Chief, who is responsible for producing content for our magazine and website.

The role involves assisting the Editor in the planning and production of content.

The candidate must have at least three years editorial experience, in producing news, doing interviews, writing articles.

A sense of design and visualization skills is also preferred (for the magazine work).

The candidate should be a keen and fast learner and should be able to pick up knowledge on cybersecurity and all the related terminology.

Excellent planning and organization skills are essential.

Reporting and research skills will be advantageous.

Our content includes news articles, feature articles, blog posts, landing page text, whitepapers, reports, press releases, and social media posts.

Assistant Editor Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Editor-in-Chief with the planning and production of stories.
  • Editing content.
  • Working with a team consisting of technical and non-technical writers (in-house/ freelancers), editors, etc.
  • Working with the social media team.
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.

Assistant Editor Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Strong time-management and scheduling skills.
  • Leadership skills. Ability to influence others.
  • Team player.
  • Familiarity with technical terms, particularly Cybersecurity.
