Who we are:

EC-Council creates content and certifications that are delivered through our channel of authorized training centers which consists of over 700 partners representing over 2,000 physical locations in more than 145 countries across the globe. Our certification programs are recognised worldwide and have received endorsements from various government agencies, including the United States Federal Government (via the Montgomery GI Bill), the National Security Agency (NSA), the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and GCHQ. EC-Council has received accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for our coveted CEH, CCISO, CHFI, and CND programs. We have so far certified over 220,000 professionals in various e-business and cybersecurity skills and are hoping that the new hire will help grow our European exposure.

About the role:

We re looking for a B2B Business Development Manager to join our worldwide Sales team in developing business opportunities by researching and connecting with partners and executives at the largest private and public organisations in Europe. You will be offering them opportunities to grow their businesses by accelerating technology skills for cyber experts through our range of cyber certifications and solutions.

The main goal of this role is to support our growth in multiple European markets to build Sales Pipeline by identifying the most relevant decision-makers in target organisations and sparking their interest in our solutions. You will be responsible for proactively scheduling and confirming sales meetings, while gathering valuable market intelligence from prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify and connect with senior stakeholders in target prospect accounts and have informative conversations by asking the right questions about their business needs and goals
  • Deliver a compelling pitch on the EC-Council Solutions value proposition
  • Book meetings with key decision-maker in order to progress the sales journey
  • Throughout the process, partner with Director, Europe Region to create customised plans for specific target organisations, map the account structure and keep abreast of their business objectives in line with the EC-Council s offering
  • Recruit clients to attend events such as webinars or demonstrations
  • Ensure that Zoho (CRM system) contains accurate account details and contact information
  • Ownership of your target which will make up a proportion of EC-Council s European division overall target
  • Monitor and report on the strategic direction for cyber security on each country in your remit

Who will succeed in this role?

We are looking for someone who has an interest and understanding of cyber security industry and community and will hit the ground running when they join our team. You will report directly to the Director , Europe Region and work with them and their other team members to help grow the European territories that they manage for the organisation.

As a strong candidate, you enjoy spending most of the workday engaging with customers primarily via teams and via email and LinkedIn. If you have experience working with training/educational solutions, all the better. But most importantly, you are passionate about global Business Development, hungry, driven, and committed to continuous learning and development. Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to try new approaches, alongside a relentless determination to deliver and achieve.

Being a team player is the cornerstone to this role as you will have to interact with our Global team to build new business opportunities and help to onboard channel partners and enterprise clients. A love of people and working with others is essential for success in this role so we are looking for that vivacious individual who can help build lasting relationships.

You must be a self-starter as it is a fast-paced environment, and the individual must maintain focus and composure in the ever-evolving business climate.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of successful B2B business development experience, who speaks fluent and who has a genuine passion for initiating business conversations with multiple contacts in target organisations.

Previous exposure to cyber security technologies would be ideal but not mandatory with experience in European markets would be beneficial.
