Job Summary Roles and Responsibilities

1. Significant experience in web development using Python/Django and the Django REST API

2. Significant experience writing unit tests in Python

3. Understanding of web servers such as Apache and Nginx

4. Knowledge of database queries in e.g., PostgreSQL and MySQL

5. Experience developing with Redis cache

6. Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

7. Understanding of JavaScript (front-end frameworks such as React and Angular a strong plus)

8. Familiarity and experience with secure coding practices a strong plug. Ability to interpret VAPT reports, recommend fixes

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

10. Strong experience with agile design and best practices

11. Actively participate in project scrum calls and contribute to the design and evaluation of product features

12. Serve as an expert-level developer that can mentor team members and help guide the team in developing systems that meet architects goals

13. Perform code reviews, guide, and implement best coding practices. Knowledge of SonarQube or similar tools, ability fixes bugs and code smells based on these tool reports

14. Experience and/or exposure to Devops/DevSecOps is desired

15. Work with developers, project managers, and business leaders to break down technical requirements into clear, well-defined tasks



Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in computer science, Education, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on networking and/or IT, or equivalent experience. Industry certifications in cyber security required with the ability to attain various EC-Council Certifications if not already held in Ethical Hacking, Network Defense, Computer Forensics, and Penetration Testing

6 -10 years of relevant software engineering experience
