Senior Analyst Mobile App Tester Job in Eclerx

We re looking for Mobile Application Tester to add to our talent pool. The role reports to Program Manager and will be a key influencer of our digital identity.

The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, with an ability to listen and comprehend information and share it with all the key stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for improvement and concerns, if any. He/she must be able to work collaboratively with teams to execute tasks within defined timeframes while maintaining high quality standards and superior service levels. The ability to take proactive actions and willingness to take up responsibility beyond the assigned work area is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, brand guidelines, technical design documents, etc. and provide timely feedbacks
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Prioritize and plan testing activities
• Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, execute (manual/automated) tests and analyze the results
• Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
• Perform regression testing. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Help troubleshoot issues

Technical and Functional Skills:

• BE or B.Tech or Masters or Graduate In Computer Science with 4 to 5 years of experience in Software, Web Application and Mobile apps Testing
• Experience Browser Developer tools, PostMan/SoapUI, Selenium, Apache JMeter
• Experience in Curl, Puppeteer, Playwright, JIRA is an added advantage.
• Should be willing to work in shifts (APJ, EME & US)
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them
• Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements
• Hands-on experience on issue trackers
