Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of horticultural sciences.
- Revision and creation of documents, including SOP s and forms.
- Deliver training for commodity procurement teams and fulfillment teams.
- Issuance, review, and tracking of training forms.
- Monitor perishable commodity supply chain for quality attributes and quality compliances.
- Create/verify batch records and labels to improve traceability.
- Travel to source and destination locations for assessment of quality and development of SOPs.
- Conduct primary analytical tests to determine quality against standards and benchmarks.
- Be a part of the PHM and Quality team and is expected to participate in team meetings, share ideas and resources.
- Interact and communicate with Sourcing and Destination teams for quality statistics and report deviations.
- Travelling required ~50%
Eligibility / Qualification
- 0-2 years of experience in monitoring/governing the supply chain of fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Bachelor s degree in Agricultural Sciences/Pomology or Horticultural sciences.
