Job Summary

Overview:

The Telesales role is vital to our organization as it is responsible for generating sales opportunities through outbound calls. This position plays a key role in driving revenue by contacting potential customers to promote our products or services, qualify leads, and secure sales appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers.
  • Pitch products or services to meet sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify leads through strategic questioning.
  • Set up sales appointments for field sales representatives.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
  • Negotiate and close sales.
  • Record details of interactions and sales transactions in the CRM system.
  • Follow up on leads and customer inquiries.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Provide information on products or services to potential customers.
  • Handle customer objections and demonstrate persistence to secure sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve sales performance.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Adhere to sales scripts and guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Proven work experience in telesales or a similar sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent.
  • Experience using CRM software and sales databases.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
