Job Summary
Reporting To:
- Head of Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selection of vendors (after getting at least 3 quotations), process their payment
- Responsible for collection of fees (college, exam, remedial, penalty) and maintain its record in books of accounts and timely submission of exam/remedial fees to GTU
- Prepare, submit and follow up with concerned authority for scholarship/free ship
- Managing overall cash flow and fund flow and other budgetary expenses
- Responsible for calculation and payment of statutory liabilities as applicable from time to time
- Correspondence with statutory bodies like GTU, AICTE, FRC or any other as required from time to time
- Provide assistance to auditors for proper audit and manage the documents accordingly
- Responsible for filing of documents and managing the record as per the norms
- Manage day to day expenses, petty cash management and banking correspondence
- Prepare budgets for event/conference/seminar/induction/orientation, get necessary approval and arrange to manage the expenses accordingly
- Responsible for processing the invoices/salary and any other processes
- Provide Institutional development support as and when required
Desired Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of SOUL software
Required Qualification:
Master s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
Required Qualification:
Candidate should have minimum 5-7 years of work experience of which minimum 4 years should be in academic institute and shouold have knowledge of GTU norms
